FBO RIGA has reported significant growth in business aviation traffic at Riga International Airport during February and March this year. Among the factors stimulating business aviation traffic in the country is Latvia's presidency of the Council of the European Union that began on January 1st.

Most of the flights were from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany and Netherlands. “We are proud that FBO RIGA has won the trust of discerning customers from Europe and CIS region as a reliable ground handling partner in Riga International Airport. We have worked hard to be fully prepared for the significant growth of business aviation traffic during Latvian presidency of the Council of the EU and are very glad with the first results. In our work, we focus on exceptional safety, quality and comfort and will make every effort to exceed the expectations of our customers. With the opening of our new Business Aviation Center in RIX we will contribute to the development of business aviation segment in the region by extending cooperation with our existing customers and attracting new businesses to Riga Airport”, said Roman Starkov and Leonid Gorodnitski, the owners of FBO RIGA.
