Function meets comfort in the new Gulfstream G600. Flying at superior speeds and delivering the longest cabin in its class with an incomparable luxurious interior, the G600 boasts a flexible and accommodating design. Tray Crow, director of interior design for Gulfstream Aerospace, led the design of the new G600 with form, function, and comfort in mind. “The goal is to create comfortable cabin environments that incorporate quality and craftsmanship,” Crow says.
Designed to carry up to 19 passengers and sleep nine, the G600 advancements include wide-cabin comfort and cutting-edge technology, with industry-first active control sidesticks and touch-screen avionics interfaces. The G600 also features a new media system allowing up to 19 personal devices to stream while in flight. The main cabin features single seats and divans that convert into beds, a multipurpose credenza, and adjustable conference tables. The interior of this deluxe aircraft focuses on providing working, living, dining, and relaxing areas for passengers. On top of extra headroom and leg space, the cabin provides a series of arrangements that can be tailored to fit the style of any owner.
All-new seating in the customized aircraft features a new frame for improved ergonomics, along with updated upholstery and detailed stitching. The subtle stitching against light leather provides a soft, inviting environment to comfortably accommodate long flights.
In the galley, a press and release pop-up storage area rises from the countertop to display crystal on command. Appliances are stacked within wood veneer cabinets and a dramatic backlit storage compartment sits along the countertop, creating a functional space that is both beautiful and efficient.
Designed for first class comfort, Crow and Gulfstream’s product development team took into account customer feedback to design an aircraft influenced by the elite traveler. Faster than any aircraft in its class, the G600 can carry passengers 6,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85. Currently listed at $54.5 million, the all-new G600 will enter into service in 2019.
